Compatibility
AMS
AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT: up to 4 + 8 with Filament Track Switch (sold separately, today only for X2D) and 4 in 1 adapter. With the Track Switch you cannot use an external spool.
Build plates
- Textured PEI Plate FAP033
- Smooth PEI Plate FAP034
- Vision Encoder FAP037 (calibration only)
Hotends and nozzles
- FAH023 / FAH060 hardened steel 0.4 mm (stock on both nozzles)
- FAH024 / FAH061 0.6 mm
- FAH025 / FAH062 0.8 mm

Materials
Prints
- PLA
- PETG
- TPU (PLA with TPU in the same part)
- ABS, ASA and nylon with the heated chamber
- PA6-CF and PET-CF (with ABS or ASA support)
- Supports: PVA, PETG or support for PLA in the auxiliary
With care
- PETG in the auxiliary nozzle: possible but not recommended; the auxiliary is for supports
- 0.2 mm nozzle: no carbon fiber filaments
- Silk: not recommended in 0.6 and 0.8 mm
Not recommended
- PPS-CF in any diameter: the maximum is 300 °C
Versus its siblings
| H2D | No switching motor: mechanical mechanism; Bowden auxiliary nozzle instead of two direct drive extruders; 300 °C versus 350 °C; without the H series price barrier. |
|---|---|
| P2S | Adds a chamber heating unit (65 °C), G3 + HEPA H12 + carbon filter, external exhaust and buffer included; the P2S only has activated carbon. |
| X1C | Dual nozzle, active chamber at 65 °C and three stage filter; the X1C filters with activated carbon only. |
In the box
- X2D Combo: accessory box, tool box, spool holder, touch screen, power cable, 6 pin Bambu Bus cable, auxiliary extruder, spare PTFE tubes, spare 0.4 mm nozzle, silicone sock, left and right cutters, unclogging pin, cleaning pad, scraper blade and screws, PTFE compression nut, H1.5 and H2.0 Allen keys, open end wrench, nozzle blocker, lubricating oil and grease

Good to know
- Auxiliary nozzle: no automatic dynamic flow calibration; less detail; recommended for supports.
- With the auxiliary the maximum height drops 4 mm and the shared area is 235.5 × 256 mm.
- PPS-CF not available (maximum 300 °C).
- With the Filament Track Switch you cannot use an external spool.
- Slight bulging of the left side panel with a hot chamber: normal.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use PETG in the auxiliary nozzle?
You can, but it is not recommended: the auxiliary lifts and lowers often and has a long feed path. Use the main nozzle for demanding surfaces and the auxiliary for supports.
How loud is it?
50 dB in silent mode.
There is leftover filament in the hotend out of the box, is it used?
No. It comes from factory testing; the fan can carry purged material into hard to see areas.
Which AMS works with it?
AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT. With the Filament Track Switch (sold separately) you map any AMS to any nozzle, up to 4 AMS 2 Pro and 8 AMS HT.
Can I use filament from other brands?
Yes. The printer and the AMS accept third-party spools. RFID reading and remaining filament estimation only work with Bambu Lab spools. A Bambu spool measures 200 mm in diameter, 55 mm core and 67 mm wide; a spool from another brand must fit those dimensions to go inside the AMS.
What warranty does NODEM give?
NODEM gives a 30 day warranty and records the serial number of the unit at the time of sale. That serial number identifies the machine to the service workshop and to Bambu Lab.
Can I get spare parts?
Yes. Every part has an official Bambu Lab SKU code and NODEM orders it by that code. The NODEM service guide lists the frequent cases and the spare parts for this model.
Warranty and service
Bambu Lab factory warranty: we review each case and handle it as an authorized distributor. We give a 30-day warranty for factory defects from the sale, with the serial number on the invoice.
