Frequently asked questions
Can I print multicolor without an AMS?
Yes, but you have to stay by the printer and swap filament by hand; the AMS automates the swap.
Does it accept spools from other brands?
Yes, if they fit the slot (Bambu spool: 200 mm diameter, 55 mm core, 67 mm wide). Remaining filament estimation and RFID reading only work with Bambu spools.
Does the AMS dry filament?
No. The AMS 2 Pro dries up to 65 °C and the AMS HT up to 85 °C. Bambu Lab publishes how to dry filament on the bed of the X1, P1 and H2 series.
Does TPU run through it?
Only TPU for AMS with 68D hardness. TPU 95A prints from an external spool.
What warranty does NODEM give?
NODEM gives a 30 day warranty and records the serial number of the unit at the time of sale. That serial number identifies the machine to the service workshop and to Bambu Lab.
Can I get spare parts?
Yes. Every part has an official Bambu Lab SKU code and NODEM orders it by that code. The NODEM service guide lists the frequent cases and the spare parts for this model.
Warranty and service
Bambu Lab factory warranty: we review each case and handle it as an authorized distributor. We give a 30-day warranty for factory defects from the sale, with the serial number on the invoice.
