Compatibility
AMS
Up to 4 AMS (AMS, AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT) mixed with no additional buffer, plus 1 AMS lite at the same time. 19 colors maximum. The AMS 2 Pro dries only with its external adapter and the AMS HT only with its power cable.
Build plates
- Textured PEI Plate FAP035
- Engineering Plate FAP039
- Cool Plate SuperTack FAP041
- Same plates as the H2C (330 × 320 mm)
Hotends and nozzles
- Hotend identical to the A1 series: FAH007 stainless 0.4 mm, FAH019 / FAH020 / FAH021 hardened steel 0.4 / 0.6 / 0.8 mm, FAH018 stainless 0.2 mm
Materials
Prints
- PLA
- PETG
- TPU
- PVA
- Support for PLA/PETG
With care
- PLA-CF and PETG-CF: with a hardened steel nozzle
- PLA Glow: hardened nozzle
Not recommended
- ABS, ASA, PC and nylon: open frame and 80 °C bed
- Laser: no laser module support, for open frame safety
Versus its siblings
| A1 | 105 % more volume (330 × 320 × 325 mm), closed loop PMSM servo, adaptive vibration compensation, contact buildup detection, particle dampers and a 1,000 W bed on both voltages. Maximum bed 80 °C versus 100 °C on the A1. |
|---|---|
| X2D | The A2L has no dual nozzle and no enclosed chamber; for multicolor via a dedicated nozzle or engineering materials the alternative is the X2D. |
| H2 laser | No Birds Eye camera: no automatic visual alignment for cutting. 300 × 300 mm cutting area, larger than the H2 series; same drawing area (300 × 255 mm). |
In the box
- Gantry with X axis and toolhead
- Base with bed
- Textured PEI plate
- AMS lite (in the Combo)
- Spool stand and spool holder
- Accessory box
- Purge wiper
- Bed screws
- PTFE tube
- Power cable
- Spare hard silicone pads
Good to know
- Maximum bed 80 °C: open frame aimed at PLA and PETG.
- No laser module support.
- AMS 2 Pro drying needs an external adapter and the AMS HT its power cable; the printer does not supply that power.
- No Ethernet, no 5 GHz Wi-Fi, no 802.1X.
- Print Then Cut and phone camera alignment arrive in a future update.
- Heavy bed: transfers vibration to the table; use a stable table or the floor.
- Regional versions: the -US variant is 110 V (Colombia). For Venezuela, NODEM confirms the correct variant before shipping.
Frequently asked questions
Is it just a bigger A1?
No. Beyond the 105 % larger volume it brings a closed loop PMSM servo, adaptive vibration compensation, contact buildup detection, particle dampers and mounting points for the cutting module.
How loud is it?
Under 49 dB in silent mode; around 52 dB peak in standard mode.
How many AMS does it support?
Up to four AMS in series and one AMS lite, up to 19 colors. The AMS units take a single path of the toolhead hub.
The table shakes while printing, is that normal?
Yes. It is a large i3 with a heavy bed. Use a stable table or the floor. On a table, swap the front foam pads for the hard silicone pads from the box.
Can I use filament from other brands?
Yes. The printer and the AMS accept third-party spools. RFID reading and remaining filament estimation only work with Bambu Lab spools. A Bambu spool measures 200 mm in diameter, 55 mm core and 67 mm wide; a spool from another brand must fit those dimensions to go inside the AMS.
What warranty does NODEM give?
NODEM gives a 30 day warranty and records the serial number of the unit at the time of sale. That serial number identifies the machine to the service workshop and to Bambu Lab.
Can I get spare parts?
Yes. Every part has an official Bambu Lab SKU code and NODEM orders it by that code. The NODEM service guide lists the frequent cases and the spare parts for this model.
Warranty and service
Bambu Lab factory warranty: we review each case and handle it as an authorized distributor. We give a 30-day warranty for factory defects from the sale, with the serial number on the invoice.
