Good to know
- No enclosure: not the machine for ABS, ASA or PC.
- With AMS lite, 4 materials maximum.
- At 110 V the bed delivers 250 W (versus 1,000 W at 220 V): it heats slower.
- No LiDAR and no AI spaghetti detection.
Frequently asked questions
Is it loud?
With active cancellation and silent mode it stays under 48 dB.
Does the regular AMS work?
The official combo is with AMS lite. The 2026 Bambu Lab spare parts list marks the classic AMS as compatible with the A1; check with NODEM before buying it separately.
Does it print ABS?
Not recommended: it is open and ABS cracks without an enclosed chamber. For ABS, go with the P1S.
Can I use filament from other brands?
Yes. The printer and the AMS accept third-party spools. RFID reading and remaining filament estimation only work with Bambu Lab spools. A Bambu spool measures 200 mm in diameter, 55 mm core and 67 mm wide; a spool from another brand must fit those dimensions to go inside the AMS.
How do I change the nozzle?
The hotend is quick release: open the latch and pull it off the magnet. Spare parts are FAH007 (stainless 0.4 mm), FAH019, FAH020 and FAH021 (hardened steel 0.4 / 0.6 / 0.8 mm) and FAH018 (0.2 mm).
What warranty does NODEM give?
NODEM gives a 30 day warranty and records the serial number of the unit at the time of sale. That serial number identifies the machine to the service workshop and to Bambu Lab.
Can I get spare parts?
Yes. Every part has an official Bambu Lab SKU code and NODEM orders it by that code. The NODEM service guide lists the frequent cases and the spare parts for this model.
Warranty and service
Bambu Lab factory warranty: we review each case and handle it as an authorized distributor. We give a 30-day warranty for factory defects from the sale, with the serial number on the invoice.
